Picked up the Nikon D40 today with the 18-55 and 55-200 VR lenses. I'm pretty busy this week but hopefully I'll get a chance to take some shots on the weekend. Glad I got UV filters because my cat already tried to drool on my lens.

^^Same. Like the lantern festival pics. Here in NM, we call them luminarias. During the holiday season, there are entire neighborhoods decorated with these. That flower one was pretty creative though! I'll have to take some pics of my own this winter Wink
