Im pretty sure all the dell laptops now share the same power chord but does anyone know if this is False or not? My power chord has broken for the THIRD time now and I just need a cheap one to keep me going. Can I just buy any old dell charger online of not?

thanks,
joe

I know there are different ones based on wattage. Some are 65 W and some are 90 W (I think those are the numbers). If you have a computer that came with a 65W one both will work. If you have a computer that came with a 90W one it will work but it will charge really slowly (and it will give you a message reminding you of this every time you boot up).
