You're fine, SOPHIESMIMI2003. Except for the yelling thing.
Just know that some people will consider it suspicious when a new member with little or no history on the forums tries to sell things. Too many scammers out there. Don't take it personally though. If you have no luck this time around, give it some time after you've made yourself known outside of the Trading Post (many members don't trade and thus don't go there), and then try again. Not that I expect you'll find much here in the way of potential customers for that sort of thing here.

You're more then welcome to sell any tangible good you want here. I wouldn't say this forum is the greatest platform to sell a pool ladder, but it doesn't mean you can't. Most of the people on this forum are the cheapest of the cheap, the nerdiest of the nerds, and unless you're selling the latest Xbox game for 1/3 of the price (or something of the sort)...they aren't interested...
Craigslist would probably be your best bet to get what you're looking for as you most likely won't have to ship it.
EDIT - Damnit, dmorris beat me. Next time I'll have to skip the coffee and go right for the posting. |
