Absolutely call the vet, not only should a puppy have vaccinations but should have an overall health check, eyes, ears, teeth, coat and more.

Google.
I trained my dog with a bell. Every time I brought her out I would ring the bell with her paw before we went out, couple days later she would just ring the bell when she needs to go to the bathroom. |

Honestly, you need to do some of your own research. Go to the library. Rent some books. Joins some other dog related forums. It's kind of strange to be asking these questions here.
Good luck. |

Bring him out in the woods over and over, or wherever your spot may be, then if he starts to go in the house, say bad dog, or NO, and bring him outside where you want him/her to go. Then if they do it again they will eventually get accustomed to the word bad, or no, and know that it is wrong what they are doing. This worked for me, try it if you'd like. Also... normally when you get the puppy, the place where you got them, will do the shots and stuff for you. My dog had worms or something, and a lot of dogs get them, make sure you get all the necessary shots. |

| wow, so much hate in this forum..honestly, i was just asking to see what others have done since it was my first time getting a puppy..i guess people can't ask veterans for any help since they're too full of themselves..all i wanted was some answers from people who might know stuff already and i get this..i've done alot of research myself today n got my puppy everything that she needed so far..thanks to everyone who helped here, but no thanks to all the people who just go around criticizing and ridiculing others just to put them down..try to help others out for a change, this world wouldn't be as dark and cold if there were more helpful people |

You're getting such a negative response because you're turning to an internet forum for basic advice on how to care for a puppy. Caring for an animal is serious, and basic things like how to get it vaccinated and simple training should have been researched before you even bought the puppy to make sure you could handle everything financially and have the time to devote. |

i got all the vaccinations done yesterday already, got the pee pads, everyday..pretty much the day after i got it..and i guess the thing you guys didn't realize is that i had to make the decision of getting the puppy right away csuse my friend was moving yesterday out of state..it was sudden and if i didnt want it he was just gonna send it to the hound..i have already done the best i can..i thought this was the off-topic forum..so just trying to see if i can get some advice..i see other people posting about the stuff too..so i cant post anything off-topic? people over at anything4free was helpful enough unlike the people here..and yes, thank you ilikegreens..you were helpful..i was implying that to other people like tryingtogetpaid and ilanbg..i've seen their other posts and all they do is put down people..i thought there were rules in this forum is there not?

As much as I wanted to crap in your thread, I didn't....
Until I saw a TRIPLE POST.....
You just need to not take everyone so serious, take the people who posted something helpful serious but as for the others, they're just giving you a hard time because of the subject matter of your post.... This is not the exact place to come to look for advice and be taken seriously if it does not pertain to freebies or lucid dreaming..........
And for the love of God use the edit button next time |

This is a public forum. You asked for people's opinion and I gave you mine. If you do not want people's opinion do not ask in a public place.
And all my posts are putting people down? Really? I can find a good 10 or so out of my thousands that do not fit that bill, so uh, read better next time.
And there are rules here, and I didn't break any of them. I simply pointed to the fact that I love new sites who copy and paste rules and regulations and then forget to change the old name out, so then they look like fools. That and the fact you said you researched, yet came to a freebie forum to ask about vaccinations that you said you researched already. |

You can post (almost) whatever you want in Off-Topic, that is what it's for. You just have to have thick enough skin to weather the inevitable criticism from our RFAA (Resident Forum Asshole Association). Ilanbg and TTGP are charter members. CG too.
In all honesty though: it's an internet forum full of mostly kids (almost all here are kids to me, including you). Many of whom have no life (don't make me point fingers!). They giggle when they hear the word penis. What do you expect? It's like a frat house.
As someone said, don't take anything you read here seriously, and don't take yourself too seriously either, and you'll get along fine here. This definitely isn't the place for uptight folks -- if that's more your thing, then FLR and A4F will definitely be more up your alley. All three forums have entirely different "personalities." Irreverence is the order of the day here at FiPG. |

B) How DARE you say I have no life!!!!
C) Penis is a funny word.
D) Moses is considered a kid by your standards, that means YOU ARE OLD! OLD MAN! |
