For some reason, my driver is not loading for my CD-Rom drive. When I go to the device manager, this is what it's telling me:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.
I looked for updates and everything but I do not know what else to do. Is there something that I might have deleted or disabled by accident? It worked like a week ago. |

reinstall the driver for that specific model of your laptop for your CD ROM drive.
go to your computer's manufacturer's website and go to the drivers page and find your model. and it should give you the drivers you need. |

whoops, never meant to post this cause i fixed it.
I found the code error online and fixed it in like 10 seconds. I had to delete some registry files in REGEDIT.
Got it all fixed
Thanks for the reply though FOAF.

| God bless regedit, gives you a chance to change all the crap that MS writes on your computer. |
