I don't know why i hate them. I'm from massachusetts, a die hard sox fan, but yet.... i hate the patriots and i want them to lose every single game... it's been a rough season hahaha.............. this game right now is going to be sick though, and you're right, Eli's got to get through Favre first, but either way, Eli needs this haha...

Wrong. Winning the Super Bowl is the only thing that matters.

The Steelers won 15 games a few seasons back, no one talks about them, because they didn't win the Super Bowl.

I'm not much into football, but how did the Pat's cheat? I heard it involved the Giant's coach or something somehow. Someone told me that a lot of teams did the same thing. Videotaping games?

The Giants? I think thats another story. The Packs called the giants dirty, then Rodney Harrison(of all people) called them dirty as well. This a guy who got caught with HGH. This a guy who was voted dirtiest player in the league a few season ago...calling a team dirty. Laughing

Anyways, Week 1 vs the Jets, the Pats sat there with a big camera and videotaped the Jets sidelines stealing signals and taping what they can. Mangini, the Jets coach, caught them and informed the league.

The punishment handed down by the NFL was a fine and a loss of their first round pick, which is bound to be among the last in the draft, but heres the funny part, they still own the 49ers top first round pick which is #7. Rolling Eyes

do any of you actually care about steroids in sports? I personally could give a crap... I mean, we all know you're juicing, and if you're okay with the image that gives yourself, then who cares? It makes a more fun game to watch with more homeruns, more power pitching, stronger, faster athletes and everything else... Since we watch sports to be entertained, does it really matter to us if these guys juice? Not to me Wink

Yes. How long did the single season HR record stand until Mcgwire and Sosa broke it. How long till the career HR record stand till Bonds broke it. Its not fair to the old timers who broke the records without illegal drugs. Its not fair to the fans who want to see a clean sport. Its not fair to the players out there who are clean and are outstanding players, only to be shadowed by steroids. Im glad Congress is stepping in to clean this up.

Im a Yankee fan and you start to wonder how many Yankees have been caught and how it could have had an effect on their championships of the late 90s and postseason runs later on. Clemens, Pettite, Knoblauch, Justice, Lawton, Giambi, Grimsley...now you got Canseco yelling Arods name.

The jets sucks ass anyway, I wouldn't call that ridiculously "dirty." All that matters to me is that the Colts lost. Regardless of who wins the superbowl, the colts lost. Smile

I agree with all your points, I understand the morality of the issue, and I respect your opinions, but personally, if I were put on that new Liar show on FOX, and they asked me, "do you really think steroids should be illegal in sports today?" I would have to say NO because personally, as a sports fan and a sports enthusiast, I just want to be entertained, and steroids are making the game more entertaining. However, alternately, I love lifting weights and improving my body and trying to get huge, and I WOULD NEVER DO THEM. I just think that their presence in sports make the sport itself more exciting... I know, it may not be the most responsible thing i've ever said, but it all boils down to this for me: If athletes want to unintelligently ruin their joints, muscles and bodies for the sake of our enjoyment, then more power to them.

Looks like I'm not watching the Super Bowl, two of the W's I hate the most. I swear the NFL is rigged. They love the undefeated team, and yet ANOTHER Manning, this one transforms from Ryan Leaf in the regular season to Joe Montana in the postseason.

I picked Giants all day, Eli actually looked like he had a functioning brain. And Brett turned into the Brett of last year, making stupid ass throws instead of throwing it away.

If the Giants win, we'll be flooded with bad commercials starring the two mannings. I already saw one.

Man, I wanted to see Favre get to the Superbowl...

I give the Giants credit. Good job Giants. Patriots got too cocky. Only thing I am really upset about is both Mannings winning a SuperBowl.
