I am trying to understand their "system" of updating referals and credits. So far I've been having people do video professor, and of four people, three of them went yellow about an hour after they signed up, then green about another hour after they completed the offer.

I noticed that as of 5pm on friday, I haven't received any more updates (including simple yellow'ing). Any one have a good idea of if they credit on the weekends, how long it takes if not? Idea

Also, what is the deal with payout? I Selected the $225 paypal option. I was told it automatically goes into "approval" as soon as you get your last point needed. How long does approval take (on average)?
Do they ship paypal all day every day, or is it structured to say...twice a week?

I have done GM many times so I can answer your questions.

When you get required no. of points, account status is automatically set to reviewing and you can't change the gift anymore. Only support can. E.g. if you select $125 (6 points), as soon as the last offer credits and total points is 6 or more, it is auto review.

The instant credit takes time there, Dont worry on that. Many times it took 24hrs for my refs to green when offer is supposed to be instant.

Video Professor used to credit there but now two of my referrals are waiting for credit. May be now it doesn't credit on GM anymore.

Approvals within 1 Business Day, Shipping, Monday and Thursday/Friday.

Approvals is not within one business day. I sent for approval on Thursday and was not approved on Friday.

Those timelines are just guidelines.

I'm usually approved approved within one day, at least each of the three times I've requested approval it was one business day.

Also, to the OP, please don't tell your refs what offers they should or should not complete. They are supposed to being doing them of their own volition.

The payout timeline (10-15 business days) is just another guideline. My first payout I waited that long, but the two other payouts after that were much much quicker. You shouldn't be waiting any longer than the time they give you.

It only took 24hrs for approval, once . Other than that, everytime they do it in less than 12 hours.

It's Monday and Thursdays. I never waited for 10days.

I was paid today.

GiftMonkey is a points site, where each offer is worth a different amount of points, and prizes are at different points. Your referral can do as many offers as they like, but the only receive credit for their first offer (you do as well), and the rest of the points go to the referrer only. The higher referral for a prize, the higher the payout ratio: $125 for six points, $175 for eight points, etc. You can read more about how it works, but that is the summary.

We do shipments/paypal on Monday and Thurs. Once in a while if we get a huge number of orders we get backed up a day or two while we wait for funds to get transfered to our PayPal account but this is rare.

Approvals are done every day aside from holidays. If it takes longer than 24 hours it may be because we are looking deeper into your referrals. You can always contact our support if you feel it's been too long.
