As the days get closer to the 15th, more and more people wonder what prizebook will do. So who thinks prizebook is going ot cheat their promotion and add 'fake' people to the leaderboards of most if not all states? If you're going to vote, please try and back it up with a post of your reasoning.

What made you come up with that crazy idea?

First of all...WHY would they do that.

And second...in what ways would that help them?

There're a popular incentive based site...why the hell would they do something like that. That's such a random question, "Do you think Prizebook will cheat?" Confused

Sounds like you might not be aware of the discussion of this in the other thread. It's not a crazy idea that he just "came up with."

Of course everybody is speculating, but there is legitimate concern to the speculation, considering the significant cash expense that a relatively new freebie site would incur paying out $1400x50 + travel expenses for "2 or 3 guys" to travel around to each state to personally deliver the prize to each winner. That, combined that with some mysterious revelation that suddenly there will be large numbers of PP leaders virtually overnight, led a lot of people to speculate that it's rigged.

I don't really have an opinion at this point, which is why I haven't responded to the poll, but I must admit I'm curious as to how a startup freebie site running on a leftover dating site script can afford that much capital outlay this early into their lifetime.

They will cheat. No doubt. Theres like No one on their scoreboards when I checked a few weeks ago. Some states had NO ONE, so If you did get 1 PP You would of gotten 1400$ Plasma. I Smelt BS since day 1. If anyone gets anything I'll be very suprise. I diden't pursue this because it looked like a blatant scam, No way they can give away 50 Plasmas, and be remotly profitable within the next 5 years.

That would be hard to define since right now, practically anything Prizebook has done everyone is calling sketchy/scamming/cheating.

lol, I'd love to take your money. It's going to impossible to make a bet like that though because even if they pay out to you (since you're one of their biggest fans), there's no way to tell if the other 49 "winners" are legit or friends/relatives/associates of Prizebook.

There's really no way to be sure of winning a plasma from them. In your case, with the number of refs and cashouts you have, it's worth your while to pursue, but for me, I'd rather spend $200 to complete offers for a $2K gift card and be able to spend the GC wherever I choose, than to spend $200 paying for cashouts, and getting stuck with a plasma (I know it sounds ridiculous to complain about a plasma).

I'm not the only one in this. The admin of FreebieCash4free is winning his/her state by a large margain, as well as egyptianruin, Giselle on A4F, my friend from school is winning right now too, and there's a few others. The admin already has said they'd get the option of a check or plasma. Frankly, I really don't care whether anyone thinks they're legit because then there's more for me to benefit with the only drawback of me needing referrals. They'll prove themselves, I don't need to vouch for them.

I meant to say johnjimjones. I always thought your sn was johnmillions or something like that. Anywayz, I was just joking, but it seems to be the only way a university kid in the middle of his college carreer can afford to send out thousands of dollars out of his own pocket. It would also be stupid of him to scam people after he spends quite a bit of money on designing his site also. I have a feeling that johnjim is related to prizebook but I leave it at that.

I thought PBAdmin made it pretty clear they weren't actually buying plasmas. They're "taking their checkbook" when they visit each winner, so that the winner can buy whatever they want. He said they were waiting on their accounting department to decide whether it would be $1300 or $1400.

Yeah they said that, after they said they were going to announce the plasma models soon... So who knows, they keep changing their minds about everything.

You mean to say they are going to come knocking at your door with a $1300/$1400 check in their hands?

Well we dont need me to vote for you to know my thoughts. lmao

It all comes down to math.

I dont think they would want to cheat, Its just not ecenomically feasable for them not to.

As it stand right now they have roughly 125 prizepoints on the board. And roughly 25 prizepoint offers have been completed.

So by my math I figure they have made a little under $10,000 in profit since starting this promo.

Total cost is going to be close to $55,000 just to pay for the plasmas. This isnt adding in any travel funds if they decide to go door to door.

So do the math.

$55,000 needed to break even
$10,000 earned so far in 30 days
$45,000 needed in next 15 days

So as it stands they can aford to ship about 7 plasmas. So

Freebicash4free
Egyptiarium
JJJ
Giselle

And probably
JJJs friend
Jkirk

will win.

Now everyone else, lol. Keep waiting.

By my estimates they need about 600 referals and 1/4 of them to do 2-3 prizebook offers just to break even. So they are 1/4 way there with only 1/3 time left.

This promo has so many things wrong with it.

As I have said 100 times and will keep saying until they shut me up with a free plasma this shit will be rigged.

The worst thing about this promo is the fact it doesnt end on the 15th of September, due to manual credits, and extremely slow payouts.

Lets say you are winning your state. Well on the 15th you win right. Wrong.

They can (and i am sure they will in non productive states) add fake names and claim they were awaiting manual credit. or they joined on the 15th and did all the prizepoint offers.

So if mystery man does all 4 prizepoint offers on the 15th he can gain 110 in points to beat you.

Also manual credits are going to kill this promo.

I do all 4 prizebook offers on the 15th. Say none credit. I have to wait till Oct 1st to file manual. Then have to wait @14 days for manual. It is now Oct 15th. egads. lol

So the only way I see of really winning is doing all the prizepoint offers. Refer a few friends. So if on the 15th you end with 115 prizepoints. It will be impossible to cheat.

Either that or you can kiss butt like the co-owner JJJ does. Twisted Evil

LOL thats what they said.

Quote:

As long as your referral requests by the 15th, your Prizepoints will be counted if the cashout isn't rejected. Beginning the first week of October, we'll be done with calculating all the cashouts requested by the 15th and we will have a list of winners. Starting the second week of October, some folks over from management, the support team, and the PR team (total of 2 or 3 guys per trip) will be visiting the winners. We'd like to personally thank those that are working hard to spread the word about Prizebook. We'll arrange dates to meet and all of those things will be finalized along with the paperwork when the winners are announced.

Wow, 73% of the FiPGers think Prizebook will cheat. I'm now losing because my ocmpetition did another offer. I'll find you Samantha A. Some day... Eh don't worry, i'll take the lead when i have time. All this talk IS starting to get me discouraged. And how come on the prizebook forum when someone says they will drop out, support gets dozens of support tickets asking what state they're from? I'd like to meet these people.

ok since my momma always say find a solution instead of always bitching. Here goes.

Maybe someone, like a co-owner who visits this forum a lot can pass on this suggestion, lol.

Ok it seems 90% of the fear is two fold.

1, seems like way lot of money to give out

2, fear that fake people will be added at the end to save massive amounts of money.

So after much thought, 3 headaches, 23 asprin, 4 coffees, and 23 AIM convos, I think I have a small but easy solution.

Ok no amount of change can get rid of the possibility of non payment but heres how they can fix the promo.

1) End all prizepoint offers on the 7th of September. make an announcement of such.

2) allow manual credit for prizepoint offers after 7 days instead of 14

3) On the 15th post all current leaders with earned prizepoints and pending ones.

Now what this will do is eliminate a huge addition of prizepoints. So yea they could still have 1 or 4 cashouts still pending but no mysterious 110 points added last minute.

Plus on the up side on the 7th everyone will know exactly what they need (more or less) to take lead. This will bring a huge influx of people to do the prizepoint offers. So every state that has 2 members will fight it out by doing all 4 of the prizepoint offers. then it will be down to who can refer the most people in the last 8 days.

So it will eliminate huge fake people.
It will push people to do prizepoint offers on or before the 7th

So seems win win to me. It should boost OOD offers being done on prizebook and help eliviate the threat of a fake person popping up on last day with 110 points.

Hope that helps, maybe someone will pass it on.

See I know a lil somethin somethin

And if you haven't noticed, JJJ has some stiff competition. I think he's bluffing JJJ, good luck though.

I think he's pretty serious. Maybe bluffing the 50 refs. That I can doubt.

Yeah i was reffering to the 50 refs, i don't doubt that he wants the plasma bad enough to do all the offers though.
