| In the "Help" section of the website... after you log into your account, click the Help button and look around until you find the option to Contact Customer Support... it's not easy to find however, and you'll probably have to click into a few sub-menus before you find it. |

Wow... FreePay starts sending out product and this thread quiets right down.
Anyone heard anything lately on new orders going out?
I know there was a batch a couple of weeks ago, but those seem to have been received... What about the next batches? |

Hey everyone, I have a dilemma. I contacted FreePay customer service asking about giftcards, because I don't really understand which I would get first. I placed an order on 5/23 so I'm probably far down on the list of people to get 360s. Anyways, I had this conversation with FreePay.

I also have read online that some customers were given an option to receive a $400 option at Giftcertificates.com. If that is an option for me, I would like to know how I can go about doing that. Thanks for your time.

Thank you for contacting Freepay Customer Service. You can receive a gift card instead of the xbox 360, but you still have to wait for the gift card as long as waiting for the xbox. Do you want to replace the xbox 360 with the gift card? Sincerely, The Freepay Customer Service Team

| It depends...do you want the system? If so wait. If not get the gift card. It seems simple. |

| But the way this person worded it, I would be waiting "just as long" for the xbox. And what type of gift card would it be? They only give one type away? |

I don't think it's just 1 type of giftcard.. I believe there are a few options in the giftcard department.. the point you have to ask yourself is.. do you want the system, or do you want $400 worth of giftcards to a certain store?
If you WANT the xbox machine itself, then I'd suggest waiting and just get the machine itself.. if you'd rather have $400 worth of BestBuy giftcards or something similar, then get the giftcard.
the only reason I haven't gotten a giftcard is I want the machine and I don't want to pay the extra $50 for tax and other fees it would take to spend the $400 giftcard and get the machine... for me, it's much better to just wait and get the xbox for free since ultimately, that is what I want anyway. |

| Yeah, I don't know....in CT I would pay 23 dollars in tax for a 399.99 item. I just wish I knew about how long i would wait...waiting is the hardest part... |

If you have to wait the same time for either.. you need to not consider that in your decision on which to get... forget about the wait time and ask yourself... do you want the xbox unit, or do you want $400 in giftcards?
Forget about time.. forget about anything other than which you want. That should help you make your decision. |

you don't get it...
the $400 is going to take just as long to get as the XBox will..
not to meantion, it would cost you an extra $30 or so to purchase the XBox from a store if you used the giftcard to buy the xbox.
so if you want the machine, why would you even consider the giftcard? |

Depending on the giftcard/merchant used, you could order the 360 online and not pay tax.
Freepay usually pays with SuperCertificates. You go to the SC website and redeem that for giftcards to your favorite store.
But the discussion is pretty much moot anyway -- Freepay doesn't give you a choice between GC and Xbox360. That was a limited time deal AFAIK and was offered to a select group of people. From what I understand you can no longer request a GC in lieu, and even if you did, what Drakier is saying holds true -- they are taking just as long to ship the giftcards as they are the 360's themselves. In fact, longer in some cases, because they just shipped a batch of 360's while some folks are/were still waiting on GC's. |

On 1/13. That's what surprised me the most. I don't think it's a glitch because they replied with that response. I haven't seen many people of the same time frame who have the 'STV, waiting on product' status.
Well, if it holds up, I don't mind |

I am also a 1/13 and STV (as can be seen in my signature)
2-3 weeks huh? sounds good... but I could also be patient waiting if it took longer because of hold-ups. |

| Probably...I'm just gonna go ahead and tell FreePay I'll wait for the 360. Just in case. No harm in going back to what I was doing...waiting forever. |

| I placed my order in early June last year, I then moved in February and the only way to change the shipping information was to cancel the order and reorder with the new address.... oh well. |

If you can get one from FreePay (meaning you can complete the offers, etc) then it takes at least a few months to get the XBox. My order was placed in January (I think) and I'm currently STV but waiting.
Don't forget that FreePay has the new 90 day completion thing where you have to get all your referrals and complete your offer within 90 days or you're SOL.
in my personal opinion, I'd rather use a company that is faster, more flexible, and seems a little better like TraInn. TraInn has no 90 day completion BS and they seem to be shipping products VERY quickly (many if not all of the people who ordered XBox 360's from TraInn have them now).
If you're looking to start fresh and get an XBox 360, I'd personally stay away from FreePay and go to TraInn. That's just my personal opinion however. Feel free to ignore it! *grins* |

a small digital clock.
it's kinda cool, but nothing really special... it's really hard to read the numbers unless you have it up against a white background, or backlit. |
