I'm fully having trouble understainding the points system.

If I do a type A I get instant credit, if I do a type B I need 800 points???

I'm looking at the type B offers and they look like the same as the type A. Why would I do type B at all if it requires more than 1???

I'm really confused as to how the whole A & B + Referals thing works, and I'm checking their help page and it doesn't seem to explain how the whole process works...

The whole thing is being re-written for clarity, but in short the point method allows you to simply complete offers (obtaining points for each) and once you have enough points, you can order your item. No referrals are required.

The referral method works the same as it does in other places, but we allow you more options to obtain your offer credit.

Level A offers are "full credit" offers where you only have to do one.

The Level B section is for users who may not see something on Level A that interests them. The Level B section contains "smaller offers" which require 50 points or more worth of completions (125pts if using FlashiPods4free due to interval differences).

To obtain your offer credit, you only need to complete 1 Level A offer OR 50 points (125 for Flashipods4free) worth of Level B offers.
