oh man that's awesome@!!!
I'm so jealous haha. So then does this mean you're coming to lugo's defense?
Can we be honest, I mean, Just cuz he's on the team doesn't mean you need to like him.
I do like everyone else except Lugo and Lopez.
Good call on the play Dan, I was looking at the comp, and I looked up and saw him diving in like a maniac, I figured it was a steal attempt.
Caterpillar chin, sorry
Box, how do you feel about the Jacoby/Coco platoon they've got going on? I used to say get rid of Coco, but I love what the team is doing right now. It seems as though Coco is okay with this role too. It's really adding depth and they have both been on base machines lately. Stolen bases are way up since, let's say '04, when your fastest guy was.... Fatty Millar |

| I was at Comerica to see Mag Pipes hit the walkoff in Game 4 of the ALCS in 2006 to send them to the WS. I doubt I'll ever go to a game that tops that. |

can we please talk about this?
manny makes the most amazing catch i've ever seen, scales the wall, high fives a fan, comes down, throws to cora, who throws to first to double someone off.
jesus christ. check that out. |

No offense, but I take it you haven't seen much baseball then. It was a good catch, but not even close to "the most amazing ever". Kinda hard not to double the runner off there too when he's out by 10 feet. The high five is just showboatin, if I was pitching he'd take one in the ribs his next AB. Just remember the thing that matters, Boston 3 Baltimore 6. |

it's more manny-being-manny than anything else.
there's nobody else in the history or future of baseball who high-fives a fan in the stands after making a catch.
for having an almond for a brain, he can definitely play.

hahahaha, almond for a brain. NICE. Obv, I know that was not the most amazing catch ever, I just thought it was cool. It added a silver lining to the fact that the Sox are probably never going to win a game again.
I don't know if I've said this already, but in 2005 when the Sox had Renteria, I predicted that in 2007 the DRays would be contenders. Son of a bitch if I wasn't one year off haha. They are nasty. I know you're not supposed to like anyone in your division, but why do I like them so much??? |

i rooted for them when they played the rams
then once nantz, berman and all the networks stood in line to blow brady and everyone else on the team, it became too much to bear.
anyways, to get this back on topic (baseball), here's an interview with the guy who high-fived manny:
http://www.thelostogle.com/2008/05/16/a-lost-ogle-q-a-the-manny-ramirez-high-five-guy/
it's short, but a good read.
