Just got my Ipod Shuffle like 10 minutes ago. I had no idea the box is so small.

What did you tell them at the Apple Store so they would take it? My local Apple Store are such hardasses and won't take anything without a receipt... x

Major rule Act dumb.

I walked in and said I wanted to return it. They said talk to the manager. I waited and the manager came out. I told her I wanted to return the ipod shuffle. She asked for a receipt I said, "Oh I got it as a gift." Don't just come out and say, "I want to return this, but I don't have a receipt." She scanned it and it didn't come up as coming from an Apple Store. So she scanned the upc and it came up and she gave me my credit. AFTER I was sure I was getting 150 credit I said, now can you add an ipod mini. Don't go in saying you want to trade for the mini. THEN show them student ID. The reason for this is you want 150 credit on the shuffle, not 150 - student discount and THEN you want the student discount on the mini. I find that if you make people involved in retail (and technical people like the dell technicians for example) feel smart they are more willing to bend however you want them to.

I just recieved mine about a hour ago...these things are really small but I did already see one in the stores so I knew how small they were. I'm just glad it finally came.

i went up and said i got this shuffle and i dont want it, id like to exchange it for the mini, and they let me do it and pay the difference )

my sister woke me up by telling me a package from DHL came... man did that get me outta bed quick! the estimated arrival date is Thursday, so it came TWO days early, WOOT!
