yeah it uses 4 AA but you can use the rechargable ones also which i plan on doing

hmm 4 AA, i guess that's a good thing when you run out of batteries you can just get normal AA instead of having to find a place to charge your batteries (NiMH). but 4 seems like a lot, that's like half the size of the camera already lol

i'm almost done with my cameras4free so i can't wait to get mine. how's the picture quality on that thing? i know canon is a good brand for cameras and i'm leaning more towards the canon S1 which has 10x optical zoom. the down side? only 3.2 MP while the others have 5mp... how do you like the A95?
