Not hard at all. I guess if you are completely tech un-savvy, then you're screwed anyways. ) It rocks! Excellent sound, great design, kick ass color screen...the list goes on. I took that pic with my Fuji S700.

I want one for all of the features, but I honestly hate the way it looks. I'll probably still try to get one eventually, but it was hard enough completing tech4free and FiP...5 more will never happen, lol.

I'm guessing they meant "why...[do you have to upgrade your firmware to the korean version in order to play video]." But, I could be wrong.

Korean Firmware makes the iRiver have "USB on-the-go" for the plug in of cameras, etc. It also allows you to watch videos. UnderTheRadar, I'm tempted to get the same on mp3players4free, I'm 4/5 and should go 5/5 in a day. Do you think the 20GB is enough?

so it's not hard to find stuff on the H320? the only thing good about ipod is the damn click wheel (which i tried today and find it gay when you wanna go down just one file and you sometimes go more than that), other than navigation, H320>ipod

Awesome pic undertheradar. The H320 definitely blows the iPod away in features but it really matters what your going to use your mp3 player for. Both the iPod and the H320 have their pros and cons. )

The IPod is actually a simpler, less expensive design, but the price is the same due to advertising and the general "IPod" name. Because the IRiver isn't designed to turn a once unprofitable company into a highly desirable stock option, they were able to have a lower price margin and make a better product.

if it comes with a case it's even better, it'll cover up the ugliness lol
(no offense, but when it comes to looks ipod>h320, but features/performance h320>ipod)

Hmmm, I guess the whole looks thing is just personal preference, but I can't stand the white case of the ipod.
The case it came with is really nice, and protects it well. The screen is a bit small, but I haven't flashed it or loaded any video, so I don't know how it looks.
Oh, and to the person that said iRiver was "copying" Apple...try again, iriver was making mp3 players long before Apple introduced the iPod.

i flashed it to Korean firmware, and it looks pretty good. The simpsons looks good, I put an episode of Las Vegas on it was a little choppy, i am trying another ep with a slower frame rate to see what happens.

Please tell me if you think this is a worthy option instead of a PVP. I'm waiting until the Archos PMA AV500 (their new PVP with WiFi and a Linux operating system) comes out later this year, and I was going to get the iRiver to watch AVIs on in the interim. Otherwise I'll just get the cash.

well the video can be choppy on the iriver, as it is not pvp. it works good for my purposes though
