Came home from school today and to my surprise.... My 20GB Ipod! It came surprisingly quick too. I signed up for freeipods.com on Christmas day and got all my refs. by Jan 13. Haha OMG SOMEONE STOLE ME OF 1.5 GIGS!!!1. it says... capacity 18.5 gb under settings>about. Whatsup with that eh? pshh frikin' apple and their rounding up.

O BTW How do I put my Order Status in my sig? I can't right click and "Save Picture As..." Hmmm?!

The difference is the gigabyte using base 2 and the gigabyte using base 10.

1024 != 1000, and that adds up pretty quick...

Depends on what definition of GB you use is!

The real answer is, that it's 18.5... all hard drive manufacturers have been pulling this same trick for years. It's a 'standard' practice now, which it total BS considering that every OS uses the base 2 definition.
