Cool. That's awesome. I just don't have that much of a bankroll to play on. Do you get free bankrolls?

Nah the guy that owes me $10,000 sent me $1,000 last night, I won it fair and square playing pingpong and playing poker on his account (so techinally my money wasn't at risk for that, but it's not like I'm getting it handed to me).......

If you ever need money online (UltimateBet) I can send it to you if you pay me paypal or MO )

I had pulled all my money out of poker, but then party gave me a free $15 so I took it to $60 first night, and cashed it to full tilt in anticipation of party shuting me out.

The players at full tilt are so divided, you have some really good solid players, and some incredibly LAGy players with absolutely no composure.

Last night I had around $50 at the .25/.5 tables. EP caller small blind completes I have JJ, I raise to $1. EP folds, SB calls. I flop a set he checks I bet the pot and he folds.

Very next hand I get AA in the SB, 5 limpers, including the same player on the button. I raise to $2, folds around to button and he pushes for $60.

Two hands later he has rebought for $50, and again I stacked him with top set to his medium PP on the flop.

anyhow i've rolled up to $220 so in 2 days of play.

I don't understand bubbabribee's all in on the river there in that last hand.

Yeah Justin, the other night on Full Tilt did you see Phil Ivey and Texas Limit King playing? They had a combination of like $200,000 at the table, insanity. Irish played on there and got up to like 50k at a 5,000 max, but I've never played on full tilt......

I don't get his all in on the river, or my call on the turn. I somewhat new I was beat, but really had a strong feeling I'd boat up or something. Got to go with the feelings.....

Anyway, after that hand I went down to 669, but back up to like 810 or something.....

justinag06

07-10-2006 03:46:37

well I don't know if calling on the turn is a bad play, he could easily have As Xs for a gutshot and nut flush draw, or even a 48 of spades and be open ended on the turn. That all in is only going to be called by a better straight or a full house though, he already has the flush draws that missed out. I suppose the one hand that can call would be a A3 of spades, if you thought he missed his draw.

I sweat the $1000/$2000 Omaha hi/lo tables every now and then. Limit poker is so boring to watch, but omaha is a lot more fun to watch because you can better guess what kind of hands the players are betting with.

anyhow i've never seen irish on there before, but I do see a wide selection of players so i'd believe it.

Isn't "Texas Limit King playing" Todd Bronson? I've seen them drop 50k like nothing, reload another 50k and do it again.

The other day was pretty weird. I was playing 5/10 6max, 2 tables on FTP and 2 on party. My turn at one of my FTP tables and kqs so I raised, look up to see the caller and it's Phil Ivey.

He only played a few hands but was pretty strange having him at my 5/10 table. Said he had got up too early for any high stake games. I went and checked and he was sitting at the highest limits of every game available on FTP.

Full Tilt Poker is a decent site, but the bonus clears very slowly. TexasLimitKing is a guy named 20 year old guy living in Sweden. He's insanely good, he bought in for $1 million each at 2 heads-up tables the other night.

Highest I've played was 25-50, but that was only for a day.....

I took $6,000 from it, but I decided that that was way over my head and I'm not going to do that again for a longgggg time....

Most of the time I start at 2-4 and then usually either win or lose, go play 3-6, then maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'll go play 5-10.......

Either way, just lost $200 so I'm pretty pissed.

Since Thursday, I have played 16.98 hours. In those 16.98 hours, I have won $5,017.46. $295.44 an hour to lay in my bed and click "check, fold, raise"......not to mention I'm always on FiPG, Facebook, AIM, Gmail, and Myspace in the mean time, eating and drinking whatever I want.

I mean, it's a decent job ;)

Hey, so where do you guys recommend playing? I got into Pacific poker in September and made about $100, but then they passed that gambling law so I never got back into it. I'm really craving playing now though. Any recommendations? Where do all the fishies go to now?

Hey, is the competition pretty tough at Full Tilt? I was just wondering because recently they added that as an offer to a few freebie sites and I figured I might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

Honestly, I would say I'm pretty new at poker. I've read a few books and sites on it but don't have much actual practice outside of a month at Pacific Poker. Think I would be alright at Full Tilt or should I go for Bodog or Absolute like you said earlier?

How much did u start playing for? $1/$2?? I deposited 50 bucks yesterday and lost it on poker and blackjack, I have 50 bonus, but I cant play em, I think I needed to get more "points" or whatever

OldManWrigley

06-03-2007 17:07:43

Um I started playing the 50 cent dollar tables, then after I won $200 playing on that, I moved to $300 max. I built up to like $1,500 from that, and have won the rest playing $600 max and $1000 max.

To be honest all the sites are the same if you're playing lower stakes tables (such as anything below $5-$10). All sites have the same type of players at the lower tables. However, some "pros" prefer one site over another, so you will run into a lot of different competition playing higher stakes on different sites.
