Well if it's what his sister wanted for Christmas that's perfectly understandable. iRiver's are harder to use than an iPod so that might have been the better choice.

A lot of people find iRivers hard to use, so I was just backing up my comment with an obvious flaw in the device that I so desperately want. I might have been a bit biased toward the girls at the time. If that came out the wrong way, I'm sorry. oops

I chose an iPod for myself but I considered the IRiver for a while. After having read a few mediocre reviews of the IRiver, and after I made sure it was indeed thicker than the iPod (size mattered to me wink ) I finally chose the iPod.
Now, while I don't regret my choice, I'm curious to know the impressions of the people who got the IRiver.

You're not going to find many iRiver owners here. I assume that when most people get their free item, they get caught up with it and leave this forum. My brother, however, may become the owner of an iRiver H320 (see my sig), very soon if my mom is willing to pay that much ($250 at Best Buy).
