( My ref got their plasma already so unless I did something wrong, which I know I didn't. I should be getting the plasma. P

same here, my ref got their plasma already. even though i sent in my voucher before my ref, my refs voucher was processed a week before mine. hopfully ill get mine soon. i think it will come at the end of june though.

Here's my official Timeline
Feb 27, signed up, completed 6/8 offers
Mar 5, completed last 2 offers
April 5, Got word that my ref completed all offers, no change in status
April 12, Found out that ref didn't GREEN on all offers before, now he did, status changed. Mailed out my form with confirmation quickly thereafter, they arrived it the 14th.
[b8015572644]APRIL 24[/b8015572644] Form was proccessed expect TV 6-8 weeks.
[b8015572644]May 31[/b8015572644] Got a call from a delivery guy wondering where my house was. Asked him what he was delivering (had a good idea anyway) had to rush my dad out of my house so that he wouldn't know. TV arrived.
June 2, Status changed on site from "6-8 weeks" to "shortly," Dad loves the TV.

its a lot of luck when you're vouchers are actually processed
my friends didnt get processed until over a month after he sent it by regular mail.. i sent mine with signature comfirmation the same day he sent his in, and it was processed less than a week later

Well... if you're going to build a stand for a nice TV like that... Please take the time to sand down the wood, stain it and make it look pretty. I'm from the Ghetto and that is more ghetto than anything I've ever seen!

That stand is by no means permanent.
Although, It's one of those sentimental things that I know my dad will keep, even though it looks like a piece of trash!

ehhh...skills...I have a saw, a socket set, a drill and a hammer. I bought 12' of 2x4, and had some scrap wood sitting around the house. I bought about $10 worth of bolts and screws from Ace hardware and went at it.
I can't measure and I can't cut accurately...I forgot to drill before screwing in some big screws and now I have some big splits....it's sturdy and that's what matters...lol

haha that's an empty box I used for show...don't tell anyone....but either way, it was basically on it's side in the tractor trailer...I look and there's only one TV box in the back, and it's slanted against another box, and I'm like "wonderful"
No harm done tho...

Got last monday and am waiting on Stand and BCN adapters arriving on Monday and Wed.
How do you think it looks with DVDs? I compared at BB to the HD version and it looked damn good

it will look exactly as good as the HD version with DVDs (Dvds generally, almost ALWAYS run at 720x480 and this TV runs at 480p, hence, 480 lines of progressive goodness. People who say "I can tell the difference" are either using a xbox360, superbit high res DVDs, HD DVD, Bluray, or are lying to you.
