Paid $199 by nanoipod4free, Too bad Paypal locked my account

i did this site, which is now owned by MasterShake, and I received my payment of $199 for my two referrals. Of course, paypal locked my account a few hours later, and are probably keeping the cash.
Those rotten pigfucking bastards.
Still, Mastershake and his sites ROCK. I encourage everyone to do them.

This cheating skank bought an xbox from me, paid for overnight shipping, and claimed unauthorized funds 2 days later. Paypal is now "investigating" my account, and they want to know where I got the xboxes I was selling (hillarious, since I got them from ebay owned Half.com) and want basically everything but my first born to reopen my account. I say fuck em.

I can't, they only way they'll do a refund is if I take the money from my bank account linked to the account. Paypal sucks SO HARD.

the problem is that they want some crazy things. They want
1. Utlilty Bill (fuck you)
2. Photo ID (oh hell no)
3. Tracking numbers for FIFTEEN items I've shipped. (get Bent)
4. Receipts for these items, showing that I bought and paid for (impossible)
5. Phone numbers of the companies I bought the items from.
They might as well be asking for a lung or two. most of the items in question are the Xboxes I bought from half.com and relisted when people bid without paying. So i'm thinking it looks like I had 13 xboxes. The other issue is that there are like so many names involved, some of the items I sold were freebies gotten in my name, and friends and family members. Some were bought in my name, my brother's name, and my mom's name. Then there's the issue of some lame assed company demanding photo IDs and utility bills. like, thanks for the rape.
So.... I'm kinda screwed.
People need to learn that paypal isn't fair, they don't play by any normal rules, and in the end you're at their mercy. They even reversed a bank deposit I'd made when they locked the account. Like, who gave them that power?
Avoid them if you can.

At least google will be out soon; I'll be switching immediately, as will many, I bet. Paypal's monopoly lets them have an orgy with the customers.

My favorite part is how they don't explain the rules to sellers, they just expect you to know
You MUSt use SIGNATURE confirmation when shipping anything valued over 250 dollars.
Shipping to an unconfirmed address means you will lose ALL chargepack claims.
Accepting a confirmed address payment and then shipping to their aunt cousin, boyfriend dog's nephew will mean you lose all chargeback claims.
Using paypal means you will lose ALL chargeback claims..
Fuckers.

Well, I think the onus should be on both parties, not one more than the other, which is the case with paypal. Of course, since you pay paypal as well (in fees for accepting payments), you'd hope they stand up for you as well. Not usually the case though.

PayPal has made millions upon millions of dollars using the "unauthorized funds" scam. Still can't believe they get away with it...
Just remember with PayPal
Don't ever have any more money in your account than you are willing to lose.

The problem with that is that they'll just take it out of your bank account if you have one connected.
LucaBella

No, they can no longer take money out of your account, they got sued for that shit, but they can reverse payments not yet made to the bank, which is what they did to me.
What pisses me off is they've set themselves up like they're the best safest payment system ever, so you can't exist on ebay without it. People think that no paypal = scam.
