Car interface is a custom interface for VW cars that plugs into the CD-changer interface of the head unit. Just do a Google search for iPod car interfaces.

And yes, it is a very cool setup. I never carry CDs in my car anymore because, well, they're all on the iPod!

i just got my dashboad mount and ipod holder from proclip.. it's awesome. It was so worth the 50+ dollars.. I'm using itrip with mine .. so I don't have the wire, also the itrip quality isn't as bad as everyone says it is.. I'm very happy with it

Too bad it doesn't have a dock type connector built in, so that you didn't have to remove the cable every time. (That will break in time, because you have to park and remove the damned thing)
