i got my xbox 360 i won from the comedy central thanxgivaway contest back in november!! it was the premium edition with Kameo and PGR3, and it came with the mini remote control too. plus my 1 year sub to some xbox magazine too.
i know its not a freebie site win, but still cool none the less

Nice, congrats! Was the remote in the box with the 360 (was there a sticker on the outside), or did they send you a separate, sealed one? If it was in the box, that means they got their hands on it/them plenty early, but took their sweet time sending it/them out.

yeah it was the limited edition one. they didnt announce the winners until early this month. oh well, free is free

Oh ok. I'd test that sucker out and make sure you get no errors. I had one of those early ones and it had a few different errors. Fortunately you have warranty service until sometime in February regardless of whether or not you have a receipt (they'll start requiring receipts 90 days after the 360 launch date).
