Just received my Cybershot N1 from Freepay! [pics inside]

Yay! I just got my Cybershot N1 from Freepay!

These were all taken with my camera phone. No need to do that anymore!

I submitted for approval like a week and a half ago or so, then I got approved that same day. I ordered the Cybershot T7 but then found out they were updating the site so I cancelled my order and waited to see the new cameras. I was so happy when I waited because I loved the N1. I waited for them to update then ordered it the second it went up. I was so happy and then about an hour after, they took it off the site, put the T7 back up, and my order status had a blank picture where the camera usually goes. After a couple days of stressing I find out I am getting the N1 because I ordered it in time. Well, shipping took about 2 days or so and here we are!

Believe it or not, this is actually my [b322fe87df9][u322fe87df9]first[/u322fe87df9][/b322fe87df9] freebie! I have started so many sites and actually finished freeipods but then 2 refs got greyed so I am about to finish that one again. I am so happy! Can't wait for the battery to finish charging!

Dead serious I'm afraid. I think they probably added it and then realized they couldn't get their hands on large enough quantities of them yet and/or they're too expensive. I don't see what nagging Jake will do about it. A polite PM asking might get you somewhere, but don't "fill up his inbox" with flames or anything like that.

Nah, this is the perfect "slip in my pocket and go" camera, so I'm keepin it.

I'm not a huge fan of the touch screen (Just an unneeded gimmick IMO), but it's a pretty nice camera regardless. Much better than the SD550 P

Nah I'm not going to sell it. I have needed a digital camera forever and have felt so out of date not having one just like an iPod. But hopefully I will have the iPod soon also!

Meh x , like I said I chose the SD550 over the N1 after reading what I could about image quality on both (which is what I want most). I think they're both good.

Anyway, what's nice is we get the packing slip from pcmall so we can send in for warranty with it. They should always do this since freepay and the store lose nothing by including a receipt so we can get manufacturer warranty easily without any problems.

Yeah I saw the packing slip and just kept it in the box. What do you have to do in order to get the warranty? It says that if you have any problems with the camera to just talk to Sony about it not the manufacturer.

Yeh I guess I havent gotten mine cause Im in Canada. living in Canada as so many disadvantages for freebie sites.

Just hold on to the packing slip as proof of purchase (it should have price and your address). I know Sony will not do free repairs unless they have that.
