Congrats. Last month I hit paradise poker with a nice 3 day streak. I deposited 300 lost it right away, redeposited 300 and the next day I had 11k. I have a screenshot of that because a friend wanted to see. Forgot to take a final one before cashing out which was 24k after 3 days play.

Did you win a big MTT or double up by going all-in multiple times? You must have been extremely lucky and played underbankrolled to turn $300 into $11k in 3 days unless you win a big tournament.

It was 11k in 1 day and 24k in 3 days but yeah I always play under my bankroll. I play hit and run style. I did have some luck which you obviuosly need but I also play very patiently and play the odds not the cards to have fun. I sat at the 20/40 limit to start with 300. That's why I lost the first 300 in no time cause I hit a couple bad hands. When I got up to 2500 I moved up to the 40/80 Limits. Then when I got to like 6k at that table I left it and played two 40/80 tables and so on like that. Eventually I was playing 3 40/80 limit tables until I noticed a weird bad run of cards so I cashed out. Was getting KK getting beat by AA, then QQ beat by KK, and a couple more all within liek 10 hands so I knew it was time to leave.

I do this at like 10 different online casinos. Paradise is the only one I start that high cause I've played there for like 5 years and now it well. Absolute, Pacific, Inter, Bodog, Party, Empire, and a couple little ones I deposit 100 to 200 sit at the 5/10 limits or 1/2 NL depending on the site. All sites play out differently so it's good to track all your session at each site to figure out what's best for you to play there. I use a program called poker tracker, it cost liek 30 bucks and is an absolute must. It will tell you anything you want to know about your game so you can improve it. It also tracks those you play against so you know who likes to fish and who only plays top cards. Plus is you multi-table you can't pay attention to all that so it's real helpful cause you can also use a add on called gametime which will overlay the stats of each player you have in your db right on the table where they are sitting.

Also don't get caught up in the game. Set yourself a goal and get up from your seat when you hit it. When I first deposit I go for triple at my first table then get up. I then sit at 2 new ones with a 3rd of the money. That leaves me with my original investment still safe. Work up from there, but stick with your goals, if you sit there long enough you will end up losing it back.

Yeah I have pokertracker and pokerace which is awesome. Are you a member of twoplustwo.com? My bankroll is a little over $2k but I would never play over 3/6 limit because I would risk losing it all and $2k is alot for me since I'm 17 and don't have time for a job.

I just play small stakes like mad
.25/.5 or .5/1 NL

sit down small stacked at 4-8 tables and once i always sit down small stacked and once I double up, or half up I just bounce to the next table. My bankroll is only about 1.5K right now, ive cashed out over 6k from neteller though.

anyhow bill you mind hooking me up with a copy of pokertracker and poker ace? ive tried DLn them but can never get a torrent that is being seeded

Bill

I don't think I can just give it to you, I tried to find it on bittorrent but it seems that its impossible to just give a copy to someone else. The $80 for the programs is worth the money IMO, it pays for itself in a short amount of time.

No I'm not and yeah hit and run is not for everyone just like any other style of play. I play very tight preflop and very aggressive post flop and it's pretty safe. That's why I play many poker rooms. If I deposit 100 at party and wait for a top hand such as AK and end up losing everytime I just go to another room, my 'luck'(or the sites hook) obviuosly isn't for me at that site. My goal is to work up the 100 to 2-3k then cash out and go to a new site, worse I do is lose 100 at that site. The best way to hit and run is with no limit and a very loose game. Just pick your tables carefully.

Plus you won't find the newest copy cracked. You want to be able to get the updates as they come out since poker rooms change he has to update the software. Poker tracker is cheap anyways and if you can't afford that you probably should avoid poker.

Also sorry PokerNerdAA, we kind of took over your thread here but congrats on the pot.

Also a good time I had was playing at absoulte poker where Mark Seif has his own table 75/150 Limit. I sat down with him and 2 other players and got him for 2 very big pots in a row then he took off. It was right after he won the two bracelets at WSOP so didn't bother him at all plus he always sits down with 15k at the table.
