It's a NANO!

I'd like to announce the arrival of my first freebie... The delivery process started around 11 AM today when DHL came by my house and missed me, and final delivery was around 756 PM at the DHL facility where I picked it up in the following box

I carried it home, gently made an incision in the box, and here's what was inside

The crowds cheered, and there was a parade on my street to welcome it into my home. I've waited so long for this moment... cry It's so small and precious...I'm so proud.

And I'm finally in the club! woot

First ref 12/9, though I didn't get serious about it until around 12/20.
Request Approval 1/10
Approved/Processing 1/10
STV 1/26
Shipped 1/27
Recieved 1/27
Total cost to me $12.90 (though it's sorta $7.90 since stamps.com gave me 5 bucks free, which I used to ship stuff.)

I'm enjoying my Nano immensely. I'd recommend the Agent-18 hard plastic case for anyone who's received one. It's only $20; a small price to pay for the well-being of your prized possession.

Thanks, all. I'm enjoying the nano. I spent a lot of time putting music on it this weekend and listening to it. I've never used an ipod before, and I have to say, the click wheel is really cool! It's neat that it has so many extras, too, like games and the calendar, stopwatch, music quiz, all that... Cool stuff.

I'm going to look into that. I'm getting a DLO jam jacket today, but since it's soft rubber, it won't protect too well from impact I guess. At least it'll keep the scratches and stuff away though, for now.

Yeah...I was expecting a stork, but a DHL delivery person is an acceptable substitute.

Yup. D From the first one, not the 19 or however many sequels there are, which I haven't seen, cause they look kinda cheap and stupid. Also, it was a nickname in high school that one of my childhood friends gave me.

I'd consider this. Can we get TR for it? lol

SIGNATURE REQUIRED?!?!?!

Mine was left on my doorstep..thank god this is a nice neighborhood, and no, I dont' know my DHL guy and no notes were left

petrie

Yeah, I had to go pick that sucker up from the DHL facility. My neighborhood is fine, but I (and my neighbors) have had stuff stolen cause people drive to our neighborhood to steal. Nice.

UPS will probably leave my video ipod, coming today, on the porch, but I've got my neighbor lookin' out. So I should be good.
