cause if it is, you can get cards arguably better than agp's
if its just regular PCI... ?

Ah, just found out...no AGP on the 4700, but it does have PCI-E! (3000 doesn't)

Really? I checked the dell site and thought only the 8000 series had those.
The 3000 is very bare bones. It only has space for one more cd drive no more space for another harddrive. The power source is also questionable if it can handle alot of upgrades. (But I guess what do you expect for a free pc)

Wow, thats a much better deal. I didn't have that option at the time but I also needed the monitor...
Mine only has two memory slots where that one has four also.
