And the wireless keyboard - I got the package deal. Logitech discontinued that mouse, but I love it. I want the new laser one!! shock

Is that one wireless? I've seen about three wireless mice and they've all been absolutely awful, so I haven't even considered buying a wireless instead of a wired.

logitech MX700 - on sale at best buy (just the mouse - not the set) for $35.

It originally retailed for $70. I got the MX duo (wireless elite keyboard + mx700) for $70, although it retailed for $100. It's now been discontinued and replaced with a different set that I know nothing about.

if you can get the MX duo off ebay or whatnot, i would recommend it. the mouse is excellent and gets good battery life and, unlike other mice, has a charging cradle instead of needing to change out the batteries. it's also extremely accurate and has worked well for stuff like photoshop detail, etc.

there is a brand new mx1000 (i think that's what it is) mouse with a laser instead of infrared for the optical mouse beam, and it gets 20x the tracking ability and works on more surfaces...it's like $80. comes with a charging cradle.

sweet.. do you ever have to hit the connect button to get it to work? that's the most annoying thing I've found with wireless mice.

Nope. Mine works all the time with no problems. I even use another wireless mouse (for my laptop) right next to it, and I never have conflicts.

Maybe I'm just lucky. ;)
