So since no one else here seems to have done it, I'll brag about BigWin. I did 10 offers (lots I know, but worth it) for a Vespa ET-2. I like to think I'm the first one to get street legal transportation off of a freebie site, but I may not be, call me on it if I'm not.

Anyway, after 45 days of waiting, I got my last offer manually approved and printed and sent my certificates. With any luck, I'll have it by March, or I'll get a check for around 3000 dollars (I kind of want this instead, I want to buy a sport bike). The site wasn't too hard, just had to do a few CC offers, and all in all, cost me about 60 bucks (a Vepsa for 98% off ain't bad). I'm also doing Everyfreegift and Gadgetgifts, I'll update those when I'm closer to done.

-EDIT-
I got the check in the mail on 2/9, only about a week after going "shipped". Total timeline, started right around 10/20, send in my certificates 12/7, shipped around 2/3, received 2/9. Much better than my last YF experience, shaved off about a month. Here's a pic, also on page 2

FIPG has gone DIY crazy cheer
it looks like you're the first one to get a free vehichle but not the first to get a gift from bigwin. Someone on scam.com got their $1000 giftcard a few days ago

"I signed up for the $1K Gas Card on BigWin. They received my certs on 9/30. My status changed to "Shipped" on 11/18 and I received my gift on 12/3."

the start to finish times for YFDirect sites is almost unberable..... shock

I bet you'll end up with a check. That company seems to send a check most of the time.

hyperboarder

07-12-2005 14:46:40

Hey, a check's a check, and that means a CBR in my driveway, which is fine by me. As for the times, yeah, rediculous, but worth it. My first gift from them took 5 months, almost to the day, and I'm about 2 into this one, and 1 into everyfreegift, so I know what I'm in for.

Yeah, you have no idea how happy I'll be if I find a Vespa at my door or a $3k check in my mailbox. I've been wanting a bike for a while, and this coupled with everyfreegift will bump my freebie tally to almost $7000.

I just finished bigwin. It's definaltey not a site to do if you want your gift ASAP with a mandatory 45 day approval period. Then who knows how long after you submit the flyers. My girlfriend just finished the $1,000 gift card. They have great CS but just a crappy 45 day policy.

what do guys use to complete these offer normal debit cards ?
or paypal debit cards
or use prepaid credit cards ?

I use a combination of debit and credit cards, but I'm gonna get a prepaid visa for the next chain of sites I do.

if you finished it and got the gift, how long total?

[quote75da6a8c15="stackmjwiz"]Whats the approximate resale value for the Vespa?[/quote75da6a8c15]

I'd guess right up there around 3k, maybe like 2500, but not bad. As I think about it, getting the vespa would be rediculously hard for them to pull off (unless they're a licensed dealer, they'd have to buy it from a dealer, and transfer the title twice, which would be costly and time consuming), so I'm thinking the check is the most likely outcome.

Just a quick funny update, I got UPS ship notification email for something weighing 152 pounds, and I started freaking out, thinking it was the scooter. I then read the rest of the email, and it's just my new wheels for the car. Scared me for a sec though.

YES! YES!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came home today to find an envelope from Netblue, and what was inside? A CHECK FOR $3000!!!! WOOHOO!

Alright, calming down, I'm stoked. Dare I say, the biggest single freebie received? Yes, I dare, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm claiming the crown. I'd post pics, but who needs to see pics of a check, and I already deposited it. If absolutely necessary, I took a few, but I'm lazy, and basking in my green money-like glow. WOOT!

hyperboarder

13-02-2006 11:30:14

The odds are heavy against a vespa, mostly due to logistics, as it is a motor vehicle. Quick update, I'm buying a 99 Ninja ZX6R with my check.

icojones

13-02-2006 12:05:23

There's very little chance of getting an ET2, because Vespa dealers do not even sell them anymore -- the model has been replaced. And anyone, I better not get it -- New York state is a pain in the ass and actually is one of the few states that requires a full motorcycle license to ride a 50cc scooter!

hyperboarder

13-02-2006 20:40:35

Colorado does too, but looking at it, again, they'd have to be a dealer or go through a lot of hoops and red tape, plus shipping. I'm sure they'll continue sending checks. BTW, Ninja bought.

hyperboarder

I heard something about trained wallabees, but I figured it was probably wrong. Since they're australian, shipping would be a pain, so maybe they'll replace it with a trained possum or something, as long as it's still a marsupial.
