From the money I received from 4freeuniverse, orderit4free and dvdrecorders I bought this beauty about a month ago.

I will post real pictures as soon i figure out how to do it. They are made by Mass engineered Design Inc. The view is truly amazing. Multifunctionality is to the fullest.

But after a while i got bored of them so if anyone is willing to buy it, i am thinking about selling it.

How can u not think of what to do with three screens?

Where can i start....

Watch porn on one while doing something else on the other

Play games...

Do animations...

Basically do multiple things at the same time.

How much was it, and how much are you thinking of selling it for?

jan

20-11-2005 16:12:16

Yea, almost right after I typed that I thought to myself and realized there is a whole bunch of stuff three screens could be useful for.

That'd be a great poker setup, you could multi-table 12 tables with that!

jan

20-11-2005 16:16:16

Yea, that would be pretty damn awesome!

I bought it from a local electronic store for $1800, ya i know, it is very expensive, but if u got the money they are very worth it. I am willing to sell it for way under that, but i dont really know how much. If some body gives me a good bid, i will sell it. I still like them but find it too much for what i do everyday, which is basically surfing and chatting. One thing i like the most is that u can open like 20 chat sessions all at the same time.

U can also hook up three computers to them if u want to. They have individual outlets.

$1800? - what a waste of money

jan

20-11-2005 17:04:31

Yea, 1800 dollars his a whole lot of money to be forking out for 3 monitors, but 400$ is very low, for 3 monitors.

can't you get thee 19 inch dells (1905fpt i think) for 350ish a piece and just do that yourself and get it for $1050 and some labor to put em together? and remember you need three dvi's to support three monitors if they all have independent plugs so you'll need a computer with sli'd video cards

Daggoth

Does it tip over to one side alot?

jan

20-11-2005 17:49:29

Lmfao, yea once you do all that it will probaly come out to the price of 1800$, so might as well just buy.

ya u can buy 3 different LCDs but u would have a bunch of cables and the presentations wouldn't be as good. Most videocards come with dual heads so all u would need just another video card with one output. And if somebody buys i would include my second video card bec i wouldnt have any use for it.

haha, I was actually wondering that myself, but I don't think.

They probably have the stand wide enough at the bottom.

No, thats the great thing about it. It kind of looks like the two monitors on the sides are suspended in the air.

Aurelius

20-11-2005 18:00:34

wait... so it's only one power connector for all three combined?

UniPrize Media

20-11-2005 18:06:19

No, they have three power cords. But all of the cables run through the stand. So u would see cables coming out under each monitor. These are not regular LCDs that u buy individualy. They specifically made to be multimonitor displays.

hmm.... i was just thinking that for the 750 more you paid you can get four 20.1 inch widescreen ones and put them all together and make good use of zipties to make em nice and neat but i guess this would be better if you want to have something with just one stand. any stats on the monitor? (response times? native resolution? pixels?)

tracemhunter

20-11-2005 18:17:11

ehh you can do that with almost any monitor. most monitors have vesa mounts so you could put it on a mount if you want and the mounts only cost like 150.
