Well, that's a bit steep for an ipod skin to me too. I went the Lajo route and I'm pretty happy with what I got. (Covered clickwheels, oh my!)

Yeah when I still had my iPod I got an iSkin with an iShade for 15 bucks. It completely covered the entire iPod and it protected my iPod really good. D

That's a good price for an iSkin. I think I paid $25 or so for 4 Lajo skins, and they were as thick as iSkins, so I think I got a deal.
I don't think a silicone skinned ipod will fit in a Vaja case, but I'd say to get a leather case that will, because there's no better protection than both together.

It would be nice if the vaja had some kind of protection on the top, but since my usage is mainly office/reading/homework, it doesn't take too much of a beating going from bookbag to desk and back. And there's no way I could fit a silicone case in between with iPod and the vaja case- it's really snug as is.

Wait... It wasn't an iSkin I had. It was a lajo case with an iShade. I ended up liking that more than the iSkins.
