Finally got my ipod.

I checked the shipping status on freeipods.com about half an hour before delivery earlier only to see it was still STV. Parcel dude turned up with a parcel that hardly weighed anything but was four times the size of an ipod box and I honestly wasn't expecting it to be the ipod.

I selected the grayscale one as I didnt think I could wait out the 6-8 weeks. Imagine my surprise when opening the parcel I see an ipod box with a picture of an ipod with a full colour picture of the Black Eyed Peas Album cover on the screen!

They also sent a firewire cable which I wasnt expecting, is that normal?

I'm so busy tellin ppl I aint unpacked it yet! O

For anyone in the UK wondering what shipping method freeipods use, its ParcelForce and it was the 48hour service that they used to ship mine. The return address on the package is a PO Box in London SE21)

same here lol, I only had the option to choose the grayscale 20gb ipod, the $250 itunes voucher or an ipod mini.

I was fully expecting the grayscale one since I chose that one and was ready to do an exchange as I had called the Apple store near me a few days earlier about it.

Saves a bit of hassle now )
Looks like people can start looking forward to a colour screen ipod, in the UK at least, I can't speak for US customers (

i wasn't given the option to pick a color ipod either...i guess they only sending color even if u pick greyscale....by the way, i'm processing so it should be coming real sooon!!
