I got my free iPod today from freeipods.com! Thanks Gratis
I ordered the Grayscale version then took it to the Apple store and traded it for the color screen! cost me $30 for the upgrade but I am totally glad (it was worth $30 to avoid waiting 6-8 weeks for Gratis to stock them)

congrats... im awaiting mine, but of course i was stupid and chose the color one..... but for good reason, i have more than enough pictures to load that baby up..... btw, i did thefreeproject, not gratis

I was going to wait for the color one but when I called the Apple store they said they would take the other one in trade. I figured that there would be some price diffence so $30 bucks is not bad for a color screen today rather than 6-8 weeks from now.

hmm.. thats interesting. i just called the apple store in higland park and they said that i could trade it in just fine as long as the wrapping was still on it for free.

the price dropped on the gray scale versions. even walmart has them for $269.00 (but don't have the color screen version.)

none at all, just make sure to leave the plastic on it. I love mine!
but I am questioning the battery life.
