I decided to switch my prize from the 20gb color ipod to the $250.00 paypal payment.
I figure, why would I bother with ebay fees, paypal fees, all the other crap to hopefully get $250 or more...

hi,
got a question why does paypal get fees deducted from if you live in the USA. If someone would care to explain!!!!!
I live in OZ and i never get anything taken off at all i send and receive money all the time does not happen to me.
the only fee i paid was to be verified which cost 1.99 and it was refunded when i sent money to someone Never have to pay another fee.

it just depends on the type of account you have
there are 3 levels, the lowest and free level has no fees but you can do much besides receive and send money. I don't have anything else I need to do so i have this type and never get any fees. I don't know why people really go with the premium membership.
