Obviously, but when I completed the requirements and placed my order, it was $150. An ex post facto application of the price change is bullshit, they owe me $25.

Took it to a retail store and exchanged it for store credit. I got a Canon SD400, a 512mb high-speed SD card, and a Canon leather case, even exchange. Awesome.
As far as completing the site so quickly... I only got people to sign up who could do instants.

Well, OC is ok in my book right now. They responded promptly to my email and told me that I am indeed entitled to the $25 difference, and that they will be sending it on Thursday.
The new Canons use SD. I did a lot of research on the Sony and read a ton of owner reviews, looked at sample images, etc. For a $500 camera I wasn't impressed, and the night pictures were awful. The menus are cryptic too. Finally, the fact that the LCD is on the RIGHT side of the camera sealed the deal for me, and back it went.

my canon DSLR got water damage and is now fucked, and is non-repairable (cost me $1100) so i think ill go for freedigitalcameras next and get the canon.
anyone else have a timeline thats not as quick as jlaw's?
The Canon that freedigitalcameras has is the S500, which is an older model. If they offered the SD series it'd be worth it, but otherwise I suggest getting the T7 (more expensive) and exchanging it.
The T7 has the LCD on the right side because it's so thin. To allow them to put a 3x optical zoom lens in such a thin body, they had to move the LCD.
