I received my Mac Mini on Tuesday! Though a Mac user for a long time, this is the first Mac I have ever owned so I'm totally excited.
So I went to the thrift store by my work yesterday to see if they had any cheap monitors that would have to do until I complete freeflatscreens.com. All they had were 15" CRTs so picked out the best looking one they had and plugged it in to see if it worked; it did. Then i was amazed at the price tag a whopping [b40ebbc5bf8]$2[/b40ebbc5bf8]!
Yoink, I say!.
Then, while at the counter, I notice some NES and SNES games in the glass case next to me. None of them were worth the 50¢, but I just so happen to find a great deal next to them
I found Unreal Tournament 2004 [b40ebbc5bf8]for Mac[/b40ebbc5bf8] for only [b40ebbc5bf8]$3![/b40ebbc5bf8] And it was unopened! When I got home everything worked well and UT2004 ran so great on the Mini.
I'm gonna upgrade the memory to a Gig soon. I know it's not a "workhorse" of a computer, but with a Gig of RAM it'll be technically better than the G4 I have at work so I'll finally be able to do my graphic work from home. Then I can start saving up for a G5. I'm just a little excited D

Yeah. I love it too. Everytime I have to use Windows somewhere, I just get so frustrated with it, lol. Then I have to resist the urge to become a Mac salesman and tell the Window's owner why I would think they would like Mac's more. )
