No its not a windows 98 system its XP pro and I just use that switch to control lots of things in my room not just my computer. My computer is actualy an AMD 64 3200+, 1 Gig corsair 3200, BFG Geforce 6800 ultra OC, Sound blaster Audigy card and yes that is a logitech surround sound setup -) as for my plain looking windows I hate everything about windows xp, its layout its "pretty" graphics, First thing I do when I make a new computer is turn all of that crap off and make it as similar to windows 98 as i can lol.

This gives me new hope for coobro sites...

I can safely tell you that other than its limited selection of resolutions it is the best monitor ive ever owned. It even has composite and svideo inputs!
