I finally got a USB keyboard so I hooked up my Mac Mini! I'll take some pics tonight after I get off of work and post them tomorrow. I'm sooooo happy to be back in the Mac game. I should have never sold my Mac, I've missed it since the day I sold it. I think I'm going to turn my old winblows box into a file server that stays in my closet all the time.

Thanks to all of you who helped me get my Mac Mini. And good luck to everyone else that is working on getting one. It really does work, and the wait is well worth it when you have it in your hands D

I couldn't take the wait for a PSP so I went out and bought one yesterday (what was I thinking!?). It's so flippin' sweet ! For the people that have one, what is your favorite game?

Peace out...

NICE!!! I hooked up my "supermini" last night too. It's nice. Favorite game Lumines. I also like WipeOut PUre and NFS Rivals.

I bought Need For Speed with the PSP. So far I like it a lot. The music is nice too. Especially the remixed track of Riders on the Storm with Snoop Dogg. Awesome track...

Oh yeah, what's the "supermini"? Did you upgrade it with a super drive? Sorry, I don't have time to search the achieves when I'm at work and I don't have internet at home for another month (

Supermini = SuperDrive DVD-R Burner, Airport Extreme 802.11g, Bluetooth, AND 512MB of RAM, which will be swapped out tonight for my 1GB stick.

congrats on the mini! mine went into processing the other day and i can't wait to get it! i'm a long time windows user and i tried out mac os x a year ago and i've been obsessed with it ever since... it is a beautiful, sturdy operating system that is easy to use with software that is geared towards designers. perfect for me.

i'm going to be spending 2.5 grand on a superimac one of these days...maybe a powermac... but probably an imac so i can mount it on my wall )

Any of you guys load Tiger on your Mac Minis yet.

My only contact with Apples is the iBook I use in Technology Mastery every other day for an hour and a half in my High School (yeah, I go to a prep school, and Tech. Mastery is a requirement for Freshman).

Anyways, we have like 9.2 OS. I think the Panther/Tiger versions would make things a little more complicated considering 9.2 is the version that is used in the text book we use.

Nate, Tiger's not out yet, and I don't pirate. So, I won't be getting it unil my free copy comes courtesy of Apple ).

PodTopia, how are you getting a free copy of Tiger?

Machines purchased after 4/12 (I think that's the date) get a free upgrade.

Don't you have to include the receipt to get the upgrade? Because I'm pretty sure I don't have a receipt for my mini...

You don't. I returned my Gratis mini for a new modified "SuperMini" that comes with the upgrade.

I have heard mixed things about retuns. Did you return it to an Apple store or Comp USA? What was the price difference on the upgrade after tax?

Apple Store. I purchased .Macurl==http://=http:///url for $69.99, so I'll factor that out of my total. The SuperMini alone costs $879.99, so it cost me about $270 (Gratis mini = $600).
