You can't really do anything with that number. Thats just a rumor that someone started along time ago saying that someone can steal your stuff with just an order number.

well, technically you can do something with the order number. my cousin gave me his one time and i knew he was shipped. so one day I checked and it says his shuffle was delivered and he was at school. i live 2 blocks away, so i went over and found a shuffle lying outside his door. i took shuffle home and he thought someone stole it cuz he tracks package online and it says delivered. went over later that night to give it back to him and said "you got punk'd!" haha

actually you can. you may or may not not be able to steal someones stuff but you can get personal info. theres a trick you can use on the DHL website. you take that order number, go to dhl.com and click on track, then go to referance, then put in the order number from gratis and your zip code.....i used this method to check the status of my freeipodshuffle before gratis actually told me it had been shipped. alot of people use this trick for the same reason. in no way am i condoning using this trick for anything other than tracking your order.
