Okay hi everyone I just got a p4 2.8 pc from dell okay this is what happen, I personally do not like the XP that came with dell, so after I got it yesterday I instantly reformatted, I inserted my XP Pro and format the dell xp and install a fresh XP Pro.. so the problem is. u no those sound drivers and lan things that came with motherboard? its not found.. and I do not know the drivers name at all for any of them... what can I do to install these drivers? no the dell doesnt give me discs to install any drivers, and i tried doing that add new hardware thing its still not working, still has that yellow question mark on the device manager,
any helps?

put your service tag# in and download the drivers you need

yup. check the dell website...i had to dl the drivers for dell laptop and everything is there and is updated....hope that helps

Can't you ask WinXP to look for the drivers in the CDs that came with the Dell?
WinXp can find the right drivers by itself if it comes across the driver.

chances are they only give a recovery cd with the system, if they gave a full ver. of windows(OEM CD) , or a drivers only cd then ill be surprised.
Then again, Dell is a good company, they may verywell give a full ver of windows and drivers with every PC.

They give full version of Windows XP. Atleast I got it with my Dell 3000.

Yes, a Red Sox fan and a fan of Manny Baseball.
Baltimore's cool. The stadium is great, and so isn't that little somewhat safe section of town around inner harbour.
