I've been thinking this over and I'm posting because I think that the admin was very unfair in placing my accounts on hold.

I did two offers at the site and one offer I did on April 12th, HoodiaMaxx never credited (sent in full header emails etc). I wanted to go green for my referrer so I decided to do another 1/2 credit offer.

I tried Today's Escape and on submission, there was an error saying that there was an error with my info and I needed to "input the required info".

I rechecked everything and hit the submit button again. Same thing. I tried another offer, ValueMax and same error message.

I just gave up and then later on was very surprised to learn that I went green and also got email confirmations from both Today's Escape and ValueMax!!

Then the next day found out I was put on hold!
I wrote and here's the response I got

[quote1bdaaa7fec]"Im sorry. Your account will remain on hold. It specifically says on each offer page not to click more than once. If your card was not accepted, then you should not have tried it again.
"
"Im sorry.
Frauding of offers is intolerable.
Your account cannot be taken off hold."[/quote1bdaaa7fec]

[b1bdaaa7fec]1. First of all, it never said my credit card was not accepted. I was charged for both offers.[/b1bdaaa7fec]

[b1bdaaa7fec]2. Where does it say on "each offer page not to click more than once"??[/b1bdaaa7fec]

Now today, I find out my HoodiaMaxx finally credited. My account is still on hold even though I DID NOT COMPLETE MULITIPLE OFFERS.

[b1bdaaa7fec]These offers were all done at the SAME SITE within minutes of each other. It's just RIDICULOUS And OGF no doubt will get PAID for all the offers I did! [/b1bdaaa7fec]

All they did was see the mulitiple credits and immediately banned me and still didn't care to understand that it wasn't my fault and it's a technical error at the offer site!

It's so convenient to get paid for my offers that I did and just put another member on hold instead of having some compassion for an honest mistake.

As of now, 2 sites are on hold, not to mention the amount of money lost in this "investment"

I'm certainly not trying to get in the middle of this in any way, but I've found OGF very reasonable and easy to work with. And I've had some very blonde moments.

I truly hope you tried to keep a cool head (difficult I'm sure, but important to make the attempt) and followed all the channels available, like support ticket, AIM support etc...prior to posting this.

If you did go through all the routes, and still could not get the situation resolved, there may be another issue that you are not explaining. Or you haven't given Randy a realistic chance to work this out for, and with you.

My 2 cents may not be worth much, but I firmly believe that you need to do everything possible to work out these matters reasonably with the sites administration, prior to posting negative comments like this.

From Randy's response, it appears he hasn't been given the opportunity to work with you.

I hope this all ends well.

Thanks,

Margot wink

I sent the support ticket and all were responded to by Jessica.
I've posted the response to my support ticket as state above.

I don't think I'm off the mark in assuming from the following comment that this is their final decision

First of all [bd8d94b1d3c]none of these offers I did on any of your site[/bd8d94b1d3c] and the site where I was place on hold was at ipods where I did
a. Home Rewards
b. Today's Escape
c. ValueMax
d. HoodiaMaxx

Secondly, I don't agree what what you posted as indicated below.
Also, I did eAuction Tutor on Nov 20 around 208AM

Are you just trying to search for whatever you can find, posting anything to make me look bad,[b1be639d92d] AFTER THE FACT to defend your position?? [/b1be639d92d]

Again NONE of these offers I did at your site. You put me on hold because I had hit the submit button multiple times and you saw many offers crediting. That is all that I'm guilty of.

Anyone one else think this is VERY FISHY?

I mean if that is the case why didn't Jessica said so earlier? So I didn't need to post this thread today and we can discuss everything via support. But now you're telling me something utterly different than I was told 5 days ago.

I didn't do only 1 offer in 2006. I did these offers at other sites but not on Ordergiftsfree.

Yes, you completed these offers on sites besides OGF.com too. This is a record from my publisher. Many sites use the same publisher. This report is saying not only have you completed offers on my site, but you've completed many offers a second time on others. You completed all of these offers on those exact dates. (The time zone may be off, but the minutes should be exact)

I'm not hiding any information. On your status page it says you are on hold for frauding offers. It says nothing about you accidentally clicking an offer twice. This has been resolved with MANY other users. In your case you completed 3 offers twice. This is not tolerable. Your account is on hold for fraud and will remain on hold for fraud. I'm sorry if you feel this is incorrect, but the facts are right in front of you and in front of everyone else.

there's your problem, you did several offers twice, on different sites. no wonder you were put on hold. it doesn't matter where you do them, but you NEVER do the same one twice...

you misunderstood, I didn't repeat them.

I said I completed the offers listed at sites other than OGF and I didn't do only 1 offer over and over and over but DIFFERENT OFFERS IN 2006.

It's a shame that you can just type out a time and date and have it appear legit.

Again, if it were the case that I was frauding, then why did Jessica ONLY tell me and thus admitting that it WAS because I had clicked more than once and that was the reason I was put on hold.

Please answer my previous question as to where in the rules does it say not to click more than once?

I'm glad I didn't get placed on hold after I got a few referrals in. At least my loss was only about $70.

I didn't even think of posting until I got a nudge from a friend and I also was hoping that maybe the admin might be less heartless than what was displayed in the support tickets.

When you are doing ANY offer for ANY site, it always states right below or above the submit button not to click more than once or you may get charged more than once, therefore, if that is what had happened, as you had stated in your response, then you were charged more than once, and the offer was credited to the affiliates more than once.

I was not being heartless. It is very hard to tell emotion when typing. I was just stating what I am supposed to do in a situation like that.

Jessecka

04-05-2007 17:54:41

And yes, mistakes do happen.
That is why everyone always should either write down the offers that they have completed, or keep a spreadsheet of offers completed.
You can forget, it does happen.
But due to the high amounts of fraud, we cannot let everyone off because they say they have made a mistake.
I am sorry if you thought I was heartless, that was never my intention.

alysme

04-05-2007 17:58:39

Jessica, I see what you mean, some sites do say do not click submit more than once.

But there are exceptions, like when there's an error that says to input more info.

I've ordered items online before so I'm not new to this, but I was presented with an error so I rechecked my info and resubmitted.

so because of the error, I never thought that I was charged the first time. This is different than someone clicking the submit button twice within seconds.

Have you contacted the companies about this?

alysme

04-05-2007 18:17:48

I have kept track. I even have the screenshots and with that, the exact time the offer was done.

everyone has a different case and you deal with them accordingly. It's very unjust to lump everyone in the same category.

I've explained my circumstances already.

And yes, I have contacted them and they said that "from time to time" there may be errors with the site. And I asked specifically if it's the errors that I experienced and he confirmed so.

The representative's name is Geson and his ID is 15060
The phone number is 1800-798-0664

Jessecka

04-05-2007 18:24:08

I know it is unjust. Same reason there are rules, regulations, and laws.
Every place has a rule, a regulation, a law. And each of them, unfair or not, were made because of a few people who could not do the right thing, therefore messing it up for all of us.
I do not make the rules on the sites, I just govern them, so to speak.
On your account being placed on hold, You would have to talk to Randy about this. He is the owner. I just wanted you to know that I was not trying to be mean or heartless, and I have apologized for that.

Don't do offers twice wink , Ordergiftsfree always treats their users fair when they follow the rules
