Speaker Wire in Ceilings

So, my wife and I are currently building a house, and we are to the point that I want to run speaker wire in our living room, so that I can possibly add ceiling mounted surround speakers.

I'm not buying the speakers yet, but I'm looking for suggestions on how to run the wire in the ceiling so that I don't have to have any boxes or covers on the ceiling, but will be able to access the wire when/if I do decide to actually mount speakers up there. Any ideas? Dmorris?
