I want to connect to xbox live, I have my router in the family room but I my xbox is in the bedroom room. I have a second pc in my bedroom connected by a wireless access card.

I have a extra wireless g point router in my buy sell thread that I am trying to hook up that isn't working, when I hook it up to my pc it gives the same errors that it cannot find the files.

I want to go on xbox live so I want a extender that I can connect to with my xbox and have the extender wireless connected to my router in the family room.

Any ideas.

Basically in short.

Router in living room.
Wireless connection in bedroom.
Want some to connect wireless to xbox live that connects to my router in the living room.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something because I'm sure you've heard of this

Yes, it's expensive but at least you know it will work. It would solve your problem it seems like, right?

hehehhehe

Do you have a spare ethernet jack in your pc that you can use? If so, you may be able to connect the 360 to it and have it go through ICS.

I tried that but I don't have that "allow others to connect" setting on my laptop. I will try something else.

Also, I don't want that xbox live adapter, I heard it's not to good.

I heard it was bad initially but I also have a lot of friends who don't have any problems with it. I think it depends on the distance and materials that the signal has to travel through.
