This has to do with getting hits from search engines.

I have been reading that "key words/phrases" are important for getting traffic to your site. That makes sense to me. As far as placement, should the key words be placed as close to the top of the page or does it matter? Is there something that should be added to the code that makes it easier for the key words to be located by the search engines?

I suck at this... D
