Haha.

The industry is currently over saturated. Too many new people are opening sites. I'd go on with this shpiel, however threads like this have arisen numerous times to the point that it's not even worth the time.

Besides, $1000 is not enough to open a site. You'd need much more than that.

You can buy a script, but you need at least $5,000, more like 10k+ for a good site, though.

Funny thing is, some good sites started with about a $1000 budget and have made a killing in their time around thus far.

I won't point fingers, but I'm sure of it. However, that was a while ago when it was a tad easier to just jump into it and make some money.
