I'm looking for a Bluetooth PC Card and SD reader PC Card, but I was hoping they would be flush with my laptop and not the big bulky things that are more common. I know for the bluetooth card to get reasonable distance it needs an antenna - but distance isn't a concern.

I've been searching to no avail on the bluetooth one and I'm having trouble determining if the SD card is flush. Anyone have either of these or suggestions?

It's a Lenovo T60 - I know I should have just gotten both options from the start, but it's too late now.

As for the Bluetooth, I'd go with the internal factory part rather than a PC Card.

For the SD card reader I don't see a factory part, are you sure that's an installed option? If I were you, I'd just toss an external USB card reader in my laptop case for when I needed it, rather than fooling with a PC Card version.

A good thought but I have 2 years left on the warranty and that's a violation. I'll keep searching but thank for the suggestion.

Then honestly I'd just go with a Bluetooth USB dongle. If you forget and break one off, just replace it -- they're $10 or less if you shop around. I've got a couple of them in my laptop case, one I paid $5 for, the other like $8. They work like a champ.

One of mine is the first one listed there for $6.17 with free shipping. Works like a champ with Windows and Linux. DealExtreme used to be FifthUnit, they're a Hong Kong vendor that sells some really cool but cheap products. It just takes a couple weeks to be delivered since it actually ships from HK.

At that price you can buy 2 or 3 to have spares. I mean, how often are you going to be using BT on the PC? So you don't need one active 24x7, just plug it in as needed. At least that's how I roll... )
