Hey guys.
I currently have a Logitech Lx710 wireless mouse and keyboard set, but unfortunately my wireless USB dongle broke in half.
Now I am currently using my old mouse and keyboard till this one is fixed.
Do you guys know where I can get a new dongle from?
I'm looking for something cheap and fast.
It could be online or in stores.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

That's what it's called...
At least I think it is.
I guess it is also a "USB receiver" but definitely a usb dongle too.

You're right, it's dongle. I have a bluetooth one also for my Logitech mouse and I'm always afraid of breaking it off ?

It was plugged into the front of my computer because sometimes it acts up in the back.
Long story, but basically it almost broke about a month ago. The end just got really loose.
Then today I pretty much nudged it a little when looking for something behind my computer, and it snapped in half.
So now I need a new one.

I've only had it for maybe 8 months or so.
But is the part covered if it snapped in half?

But is it covered under warranty when the USB part separates from the dongle part?

I tried ebay...It came up with some random company called Rocketfish.
Here is the link
Any news on them?

Dude, don't post long links like that. That's what
tags are for. Please edit your post so I don't have to.
I'm willing to bet that one won't work. It might work for generic travel mice, but doubtful for a Logitech mouse+keyboard receiver. Remember, your receiver is not only for a mouse, and Logitech usually packs more features into theirs than generic mice do.
Your best bet is to contact Logitech. Their customer support is pretty good. If yours isn't covered under warranty, I'm sure they can sell a new one.[/quotec59744c230]
Sorry about that oops , I just fixed it.
I honestly didn't realize it was that long until you said something.
Anyway, I'll contact support and see what they say.
Thanks for your help guys.

I tried calling but Logitech is only open Monday to Friday so I have to keep using this crappy keyboard till then.
I wish it didn't break...and I still haven't had any luck finding a replacement dongle either.

Finally called Logitech last week. I spoke to their customer service department and the person was very helpful. He shipped me out another adapter free of charge. I should be receiving it on Wednesday. Overall I was really happy with their customer service and that they took care of the issue.
Thanks for all the help guys.
