I don't have FIOS. Its on a AT&T (i mean at&t) DSL connection. How many other people have 1mB/s+ on their home lines?

LOL. I'm wireless and I sometimes hit 1.1MB/s. And that's just 802.11g (with an N adapter but G router).

Wireless can easily hit the speed of your modem most of the time.
Looks like I really need FIOS. I never imagined I would ever hit 1mB/s. It was not that long ago when I looked at a 10mB file and went FUCK THAT. I still remember my 14.4 connecting to the new AOL.
<- 125 KB/s (1.0 Mbps) for $90 per month.

I get 600 KB/s MAX... I really wish I had FIOS.

But this is from across the street with a wireless range extender in my home. D
And it's Cable nonetheless.

No thief. D
They let us. For years already. They actually bought me my first wireless adapter like four years ago, and said "you can use our internet access, we'll keep our router by our window." I also helped him configure the router to be more secure because we was worried about security issues. So yeah, everything that's wireless in my house is super fast speeds using the range extender from his connection. D
