I was just curious if anybody has a gas scooter or anything. I'm debating custom ordering the one below. Jus tuse it to cruise around town, to/from work, and friends places. Any ideas on which ones are better, and whats worth the price?

I just took care of your support ticket, actually )
Sorry that I can't specifically add to this topic. It looks like that would serve the above criteria, though.

Well, I used to have a electric scooter, and it went like 20mph for a good 2 hours. This is 30mph and takes gas >.<
I think you should get one of those babies that goes 70+mph (I think I've seen them somewhere D)

Those are little more than toys. Around town and to/from work? You'll be the ire of many drivers going 25mph everywhere (if that, max speed listed at 30mpg which is probably optimal conditions with a tiny rider). Not only that, but a 2-stroke engine means you'll have to mix your oil & gas together in the proper proportions and you'll sound like a commercial weed-eater driving down the road. )
If you're serious about a scooter for transportation, look into the full-size scooters that can do 60+ mph and are actually comfortable to ride. They'll run you $2000-$3000 for a decent one, but that's a heckuva lot cheaper than a car (unless it's a junker) and the gas mileage is awesome. I've been considering buying one for my teenage daughter.

Just something for a short ride, not like I'm going to be going across town on it, just a couple miles. I did notice that gas mixing after I looked into it deeper which sucks. And I'd rather have on that you stand on, rather than sit.
