Is there any way to do that to just get a wav or mp3 file.....I'm trying to burn music for my wedding so the guy playing guitar can have a CD of it, and I can find the acoustic versions on youtube pretty easily, but I need a way to get the audio onto a regular cd.

you can save the video at keepvid.com, and then i'm sure there's a atool to extract the audio from the video.
there's a slo a program to capture audio straight from your audio device (whatever audio is playing on your system), but i can't think of the name atm. i think it's free too.

I got it using Audacity....I used a 1/8" stereo cable from the headphone jack straight to the mic jack. Worked out great...Plus Karma anyway roses ;)

There is an easier way. You do not need any software and it is free of charge. (By the way, this converts practically EVERY file out there)
It's self explanatory.
1) choose a source, wherever it is, on your computer OR on a site, in this case select URL, then select YouTube. paste the URL on the field
2) select the output as video or sound, in this case, sound->mp3
3) check the agreement box, then click Convert
4) when file is done converting, the file will be available as a direct download. all you have to do now is save it to your computer.

You could...
A. Record the sound that's playing using your sound card and some other software.
B. Rip the video off of YouTube, and then just rip the sound out of the file.
