I have been able to convert pretty much all DVDs to mp4 for my ipod, but a few won't work. I use Imtoo DVD to mp4 and what happens is when it gets to 100%, it just doesn't stop. i keeps going and going. If i stop it, the mp4 file become corrupt. I have also tried magic dvd ripper but for some reason it has stopped working on my computer. Any suggestions?

I haven't tired using the program I use with DVD's, but I use VideoRA for all the music videos I put on there, so I liguessli you could try that?
That doesn't convert directly from DVD

Ah, sorry, like I said, I've never tried.
Are these certain DVD's, perhaps newer? Maybe they are starting to put extra security on the DVD's, as they know a lot of people do that..?

when i used 3gp it would state 100% but keep processing.... It actually wasnt really done processing and thats why it kept going, it would stop on its own when it was actually done... not sure if this might be the case with your software

You can try using yasa dvd to ipod converter to rip dvd to ipod mp4 video. It works quite well for me.
