Returns At Apple Stores?

I have a broken set of iPod earbuds, and I was wondering if I could exchange them at an Apple Store. I don't want to put my credit card on Apple and would rather see if I could go to the mall and change it there.

Anyone know?

I would recommend just doing it the mail thru Apple. The credit card requirement is just to ensure that you will send the old/broken headphones back to them, rather than keep a brand new pair and the defective one.

I'm not sure if the Apple stores take them back. The best way to find out is call your local Apple store and ask them.
